It’s a Little Quiet in Here

We know that the last couple of weeks have been a bit on the quiet side. After the explosion in Prince George’s county, it seemed the wave would never end. But alas, it did. Although there are always new developments in politics, even on the hyper-local level, lately it seems that all there is to talk about is the Baltimore County Republican Central Committee. Since we’re not really in the business of tearing apart our own party and given the fact that many of your frequent bloggers are intricately tied to the committee, it just didn’t make sense for us to be furthering the circus-like banter. And you all know how hard it is for me to turn down an opportunity to be feisty.
Hopefully everything will die down soon and we can get back to our regularly scheduled programming. In the meantime, bear with us. Eventually we’ll be able to talk about the events of the past weeks with a giggle and a slight hint of sarcasm, but for now the emotions are raw and tensions and high. Let’s not fuel any fires today today, except those in our fireplaces of course.
Speaking of weather, I hope you’re all enjoying the change to my wintry like conditions. I don’t know about you, but it would sure be nice to have a white Christmas this year, not a blizzard, or a burial…just a sweet, light layer of fluffy snow. And on that note, good day folks.
